Glazed Carrots


I’ve always had a fondness for carrots and their natural sweetness. The brown sugar and ginger go extremely well together.
 

Give this recipe a try with a nice steak. They pair well together.
 
 
Glazed Carrots
 
Here are the Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 cups 1/4 inch diagonally sliced peeled carrots
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
 
Heat oil in a nonstick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add carrots and cook, stirring frequently, 4 minutes. Stir in ginger and sugar and cook, stirring, until sugar melts, about 2 minutes and cook until carrots are tender and mixture is glazed in sugar, 3 to 5 minutes.
