Chili Oil

I love to use infused oils. They can really put zip in your dish not to mention they are nice to look at and great to give as gifts in nice bottles.

Chili Oil
Here are the Ingredients:
  • 7 dried arbol chiles
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups oil (vegetable or olive)
  • Clear bottle (beer or wine)
  • Cork from wine bottle or cork form craft store with a nice top for decoration purposes
Stir all ingredients together in a pot. Warm over medium-low heat until a candy thermometer registers 165. Let cool. Pour ingredients into bottle.
